What the role involves

  • Assisting with donor stewardship, including preparing thank-you letters and campaign updates.
  • Conduct research to support engagement strategies.
  • Supporting fundraising initiatives, including tribute-giving and annual campaigns.
  • Schedule engaging social media posts.
  • Supporting updates to the JFS website and newsletters.
  • Assisting with planning and delivering community and volunteer events.

Skills and requirements

  • Able to work during daytime hours at our office location in central Vancouver.
  • Comfortable using social media and basic digital tools.
  • Comfortable using email platforms (e.g., Mailchimp) or websites (e.g., WordPress).
  • Familiarity with donor databases (e.g., Raiser’s Edge).

Confirmed role details

  • Commitment: 10–15 hours per week (flexible).
