Philanthropy & Community Engagement Assistant focuses on assisting with donor stewardship, including preparing thank-you letters and campaign updates.
What the role involves
- Assisting with donor stewardship, including preparing thank-you letters and campaign updates.
- Conduct research to support engagement strategies.
- Supporting fundraising initiatives, including tribute-giving and annual campaigns.
- Schedule engaging social media posts.
- Supporting updates to the JFS website and newsletters.
- Assisting with planning and delivering community and volunteer events.
Skills and requirements
- Able to work during daytime hours at our office location in central Vancouver.
- Comfortable using social media and basic digital tools.
- Comfortable using email platforms (e.g., Mailchimp) or websites (e.g., WordPress).
- Familiarity with donor databases (e.g., Raiser’s Edge).
Confirmed role details
- Commitment: 10–15 hours per week (flexible).
