What the role involves
- Inspect and diagnose malfunctioning equipment using pressure gauges, scanners, and factory manuals.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on brakes, electrical systems, steering, suspension, and general vehicle services.
- Assisting with other mechanical areas as needed.
- Resolve major mechanical issues.
- Maintaining accurate records of all repairs and services.
Skills and requirements
- Minimum of 4 years' experience with heavy equipment is preferred.
- Ability to frequently stoop, bend, and kneel.
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various environments, temperatures, and weather conditions, with exposure to grease, oils, and lubricants.
