• Assist passengers in a courteous manner.
• Managing passenger behavior by quickly and effectively solving problems.
• Reporting vehicle maintenance issues.
• Maintaining radio contact with base and use proper communications protocol.
• Reporting passenger emergencies.

Skills and requirements

• Valid Class 1 or 2S driver’s license.
• Complete various forms of paperwork, as required.

Confirmed role details

• This is a contract position until the end of summer with the possibility to extend into the fall.

Additional role context

• Physical ability to push/pull wheelchairs up and down a ramp or onto lift.
• Transport passengers safely and according to established policy.
• Operate the shuttle vehicles in a safe manner in all-weather/road conditions.
