Technical Sales Representative focuses on manage, and nurture new business accounts and partnerships to accomplish profit and volume goals.

What the role involves

  • Manage, and nurture new business accounts and partnerships to accomplish profit and volume goals.
  • Responsible for collection of accounts receivable in conjunction with A/R staff to ensure rapid and effective collection.
  • Do everything reasonable to ensure the health and safety of themselves and co-workers.
  • Maintaining cyclical and as required safety tasks as directed by the health and safety program and jurisdictional health and safety legislation.
  • Regularly communicate with employees regarding occupational health and safety, observing performance for compliance to the program.
  • Immediately notify and liaise with the Health and Safety department regarding OH&S visits, inspection or inquiries, and health or safety related incidents.

Skills and requirements

  • Five (5) Years of direct work experience in a selling role.
  • Strong experience in all aspects of sales, including growth strategies, distribution channel management, account development, and business planning.
  • Excellent grasp of brand building and articulation of value propositions.
  • A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
