• SD42 is looking for qualified candidates interested in working as Casual Education Assistants in our District.
• Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.

Confirmed role details

• The Education Assistant provides support to the classroom teacher(s) in creating inclusive schools and classrooms.
• The Education Assistant role will vary according to school and student needs as determined by the Principal/Vice-Principal in collaboration with the School Based/Support Team.
• Support staff dedicated to enriching the lives of all students and helping them achieve success.
• With an annual budget of over $200M and over 2,000 staff, the school district provides K-12 educational services in 22 elementary schools, six secondary schools, and two alternate.
