As a Support Worker, the work centres on we are excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker to be part of the opening team of a brand-new childrens home. It would suit someone who can bring warm, steady communication with children and families to the role.

Where ownership sits

The home will operate with a 2:1 staffing ratio, providing high levels of therapeutic intervention and consistent care. This specialist setting is designed to stabilise placements, reduce risk.

Care and support involved

We are excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker to be part of the opening team of a brand-new childrens home. We are opening a new childrens home registered for two young people requiring short-term support (36 month placements). Support young people to transition successfully into a suitable longer-term childrens home.

Care skills and requirements

  • Free Enhanced DBS check.
  • Experience working with children with EBD in a residential setting.
  • Strong safeguarding knowledge and a child-centred approach.
