What the role involves

• Lead futuristic initiatives that will shape the next generation of intelligent, conversational experiences.
• Build agentic APIs to deliver a low latency, low cost, highly reliable, and high scalable cloud services and device software solutions.
• Optimize software libraries for low latency, CPU and memory footprint.
• Delivering high-quality software through working in a dynamic, team-focused Agile/Scrum environment.
• Contributing to the professional development of colleagues, improving their technical knowledge and engineering practices.

Skills and requirements

• Also lead the integration of these advanced AI systems into Alexa's core capabilities, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.
• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.

• SDE, you'll drive the development of next-generation communication features powered by advanced AI technologies, including AI Agents and Real-time AI.
