• Amazon Traffic Engineering builds innovative managed compute and networking solutions that empower Amazon Software Engineers to build.
• Support the foundational infrastructure capabilities, tools, and datasets needed to support rapid global expansion of Amazon's SOA infrastructure, built on top of AWS technologies.
• The ideal candidate is a champion of engineering excellence and improves quality, consistency, maintainability, performance, and security with every code commit.
• In addition, he/she contributes elegant, practical code that solves the most difficult problems at Amazon scale.

Skills and requirements

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.
