Sr. Civil/Structural Engineer focuses on ensure designs and installations comply with codes, standards, and client specifications.

What the role involves

• Ensure designs and installations comply with codes, standards, and client specifications.
• Perform structural design of modular steel packages, pipe racks, and pipe supports.
• Analysing soil reports for foundation selection.
• Checking and approve structural steel drawings and civil drawings.
• Participate in 3D model reviews.
• Coordinating with cross-functional engineering discipline teams including Process, Mechanical Drafting and Project Engineering.

Skills and requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university.
• Professional Engineer registered and in good standing with Alberta Professional Engineers, Geologists, and Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGA) or eligible for membership.
• 10+ years’ of directly related experience in civil and structural design of oil and gas process facilities.
• Experience within an EPC and EPCM work environment.
