Speech Language Pathologist
This Job role is focused on maintaining optimal health outcomes in communications & dysphagia function. It would suit someone who can bring analyzes the patient's needs, establishes speech language and dysphagia diagnosis and prognosis and develops an evidence-based, outcome-focused intervention strategy to the role.
How the role is set up
Participates in approved speech language pathology and interprofessional research, special projects, and program quality and safety activities. Implements interventions in accordance with established treatment guidelines and educates patients and caregivers regarding self-management, health promotion and injury/disability.
Care and support involved
Maintain optimal health outcomes in communications & dysphagia function. Maintain optimal functional independence and speech and language performance. Collaborates with patients and their families/care givers in developing the care plan and encourages family participation in the development, implementation and ongoing modificatio.

- Care Professionals of BC including applicable College certification(s).
- Qualifications Education and Experience Current registration with the College of Health.
