Skilled Solderer / Prototype Wireperson – Contract

Who the work supports

Both Self employed and PAYE welcome. 37 hours per week, typically comprising of 8 hours Monday-Thursday, 5 hours Friday.

How support shows up

The company have built their reputation by providing their customers with exceptional service and system support, consistently solving their technically complex test engineering ch. Able to solder to a consistently high standard. Production of wiring looms/cable assemblies: comfortable with crimping, soldering, lacing & splicing to aerospace standards.

What needs to be in place

• Extensive knowledge of cable types, connectors, cable assembly techniques and applications.
• Able to liaise with in-house engineers with technical queries.
• Understanding of engineering drawings, wiring schedules and circuit diagrams.

Job details

• This position comes with a very competitive market related salary on a contract basis.
• Length of contract is minimum of 3 months.
• Blandford Forum, Dorset, Site based.
• Producing looms/cable assemblies & test equipment items from drawings & kits to the required.
