Senior Test Development Engineer focuses on supporting and improve a diverse range of rack based and module electronic test equipment.

What the role involves

• Supporting and improve a diverse range of rack based and module electronic test equipment.
• This world market leader in technology for the semi-conductor industries is currently seeking to recruit a Test Development Engineer to develop software.
• East Sussex will be responsible for providing manufacturing test support and maintaining a range of state of the art In-Circuit Test and Automated.
• Will be within the Test Development Engineering Group and will report into the Test Engineering Section Head.
• Agree test strategy for product Work closely with Section Head and team colleagues to develop innovative cost-effective test methodology based on volume and complexity of product.
• Develop software (C#, Visual Basic legacy) + fixtures.

• Key experience for this Senior Test Development Engineer Job.
• Have provable experience in a test development environment.

Candidate fit

• Technical judgement, safe working habits, careful diagnostics, and practical problem-solving.

Additional role context

• Implement ATE level solution.
• Experienced in PCA Test Development or Module Test Development (highly experienced in at least one of these, with a good level of awareness of the other).
• Min HND in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
