Senior Flagperson/Trainer

This Senior Flagperson/Trainer role is focused on instruct how to direct and control the flow of vehicle and pedestrian traffic at the worksite. It would suit someone who can bring warm, steady communication with children and families to the role.

Who the work supports

Are you interested in training other Flaggers/Traffic Controllers to do their job safely and professionally? We are currently seeking experienced Trainers for Flaggers/Traffic Controllers for the upcoming busy season!

How support shows up

Instruct how to direct and control the flow of vehicle and pedestrian traffic at the worksite. Provide detailed instructions on how to monitor and respond to changing traffic conditions to ensure the safety of workers and the public. Maintain, and adjust traffic control devices such as signs, cones, and barriers.

What needs to be in place

• Successful completion of “Train the Trainer Course”.
• Completion of Alberta flagging certification is required.
• Previous experience in traffic control or flagging operations.
