Senior Controller focuses on reporting to senior leadership, our client is looking for a brilliant cpa to lead all accounting and tax functions for the firm’s investments and entities.

What the role involves

• Reporting to senior leadership, our client is looking for a brilliant CPA to lead all accounting and tax functions for the firm’s investments and entities.
• Investor reporting, capital management, and fund operations round out the day-to-day focus and add variety.
• Processing improvements, technology reviews and recommendations, and many other initiatives to assist with the growth of the business.

Skills and requirements

• A Canadian CPA designation is mandatory, preferably with 5+ years of progressive post designation experience.
• Experience as a Controller or similar role is preferred, with a solid understanding of investment management & reporting viewed favourably.
• Public practice experience with audit or tax knowledge of investment funds, including partnership structures, will really get our attention.
• Completion of any part of the CFA, or CPA in-depth tax program is a nice to have.
