Senior Accountant focuses on ensure all daily accounting transactions are recorded properly, including ap, ar, payroll, journal entries, credit cards, and bank transactions.

What the role involves

• Ensure all daily accounting transactions are recorded properly, including AP, AR, payroll, journal entries, credit cards, and bank transactions.
• Assist with product costing, and perform cost rollups or updates as needed for manufacturing operations.
• Coordinate with IT/ERP systems.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory standards such as sales tax and payroll.
• Provide schedules for external accountants or auditors.
• Preparing data for annual audits.

Skills and requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience, preferably within a manufacturing setting.
• Advanced Excel skills required.
• Demonstrated experience in process improvement, cost accounting, and inventory management in a manufacturing environment.

• $88,600 - $105,000 annual base salary range.
