Project Manager
Project Manager focuses on provide overall construction management from pre-construction to completion including design, coordination, budget.
What the role involves
- Provide overall construction management from pre-construction to completion including design, coordination, budget.
- Preparing regular, timely and accurate billings for Owners.
- Ensure timely payment of subcontractor billings.
- Monitoring, interpret and forecast a project’s cost reports ensuring they are in line with the estimate.
- Leading project meetings with internal and external parties to monitor.
- Supporting the team’s ongoing development and progression.
Skills and requirements
- You have a construction related degree/diploma and three+ years of construction experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience in a Project Manager ro.
- Must have, or be eligible for, CSID (PWSGC) Secret Level Security Clearance.
Confirmed role details
- You have a working knowledge of construction scopes and activities, scheduling, project management and contract software.
Candidate fit
- Meet with Owners and Architects in a professional manner and have the ability to communicate effectively both the concerns and best interests of the company.
- Maintaining a positive cash flow.
Additional role context
- Schedule in conjunction with the Superintendent.
- Communicate with management about project progress and areas of risk that need to be escalated.
- Submit project reports to Area Manager.
