What the role involves

• Design‑and‑build projects to excellent standards.
• With continued growth across Ireland, they are now seeking a driven and experienced Site Manager to join their team on a flagship £36m new‑build school project based in County Antr.
• Working closely with the Project Manager, commercial team and subcontractors, you will ensure the project is delivered safely, on time, and to specification.Key duties will include.
• Monitoring quality construction and ensuring "Right First Time" delivery.
• To succeed in this role, you will be an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in new‑build construction, ideally within the education or public‑sector environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage subcontractors and direct labour.

Skills and requirements

• Hays Belfast are recruiting a Site Manager for a large and well‑established main contractor with over 40 years' experience, headquartered in County Down.
• Proven experience managing large‑scale building projects as Site Manager.
• Excellent knowledge of health & safety, quality assurance, and site controls.
• Experience delivering projects through to practical completion and handover.
