• IT & Service Delivery: Managing external IT support contracts, overseeing internal help desk queries, and leading IT improvement projects.
• Budget & Resource Management: Setting and overseeing project budgets, tracking spending, and preparing business cases for new purchases.
• Partnership & Negotiation: Building relationships with partners, negotiating service agreements, and monitoring performance to ensure expectations are met.
• Strategic Support: Assisting the Director with the development of the organisation's strategy, operational plans, and performance measures.

Skills and requirements

• Level 4 qualification in Business, IT Management, or a related discipline, OR 2 years of experience managing IT support.
• Provider Management: Proven experience in managing third-party service providers and contracts.
• Strategic Mindset: Experience in drafting budgets, procurement, or implementing operational plans is highly desirable.

Confirmed role details

• Office-based during the probationary period, moving to 1 or 2 days per week hybrid working thereafter.
• Professional Growth: A commitment to continuous professional development in a supportive environment.
• Monday - Friday 36.5H/Week.
• Hybrid Working & Flexitime working patterns.
