Practitioner Psychologist focuses on offer clinical guidance, training and consultation to a team that delivers psycho-social interventions to both individuals and groups.

What the role involves

  • Offer clinical guidance, training and consultation to a team that delivers psycho-social interventions to both individuals and groups.
  • We will also expect you to have a small caseload of service users with complex needs, providing specialist assessments and therapies.
  • Further, you will contribute to the strategic direction and development of the service as a whole.
  • This will include building strong professional links with other statutory and voluntary service providers and using your expertise to put relevant support and education structures.

Confirmed role details

  • 26 days’ paid holiday a year + Bank Holidays, increasing with each year of service up to 28 days + Bank Holidays.

Candidate fit

  • Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Practitioner Psychologist or with UKCP, BPC or BACP as a Psychotherapist.
  • Need current registration through the Health.
  • Your experience of leading and supervising clinical staff will be supported by experience of working with people with mental health problems.
