Powertrain EE Triage/Validation Engineer focuses on the powertrain electrical triage engineer will work with various teams to root cause issues on vehicles at all build levels, identify issues, identify ownership of the issues.

What the role involves

• The Powertrain Electrical Triage Engineer will work with various teams to root cause issues on vehicles at all build levels, identify issues, identify ownership of the issues.
• Drive issues to resolution.
• Leading powertrain electrical root cause and determination of issues during all pilot phases.
• Lead early powertrain electrical work, prototype builds and root cause analysis.

Skills and requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
• Years of automotive system and component experience Powertrain and Vehicle system knowledge.
• Knowledge and hands on use of CDA, CAN, CANalizer, Canoe, and other Electrical root cause tools.
• Self-starter and motivated to produce results.
