Plumber/Gas Fitter focuses on plumber/gas fitter, reporting to the lead hand, you will be responsible for plumbing related tasks involving the construction and renovation of relocatable modular structures.

What the role involves

  • Plumber/Gas Fitter, reporting to the Lead Hand, you will be responsible for plumbing related tasks involving the construction and renovation of relocatable modular structures.
  • Repair and assembly of temporary and permanent buildings, additions, partitions and wood structures and fixtures in accordance with blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions.
  • Complete tasks related to the planning, laying out of the plumbing components of the construction.
  • Read blueprints and specifications.
  • Tends to the maintenance and preventative maintenance programs including cleaning for all plumbing, heating, and air conditioning, and air and vacuum related equipment.
  • Tests repaired equipment for proper performance.

Skills and requirements

  • Must be a registered Journeyman or Apprentice.
  • Current clean Drivers abstract required.
  • 2 years plumbing work experience in construction settings.
  • Working and practical knowledge of the applications of plumbing techniques and methods.
