Skills and requirements

• Knowledge and competencies to work at full scope of practice as currently required by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives, including administering medications.
• Completion of recognized training in Orthopaedic Technology plus two years of Orthopaedic technician experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

• Clinical judgement, NMC standards, calm communication, and careful documentation.

Additional role context

• Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN registrant.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
