• Overseeing trainees (including VAT work at trainee level.

Skills and requirements

• Relevant finance, accounts, payroll, Excel, bookkeeping, or accounting-system experience may be required.
• The successful Newly Qualified/ Qualified Accountant can expect to receive the following.

Confirmed role details

• Auto-enrolment pension scheme23 days holiday + 10 statutory days.

Candidate fit

• Background in small/mid-tier Practice is preference.
• Strong exposure to accounts tax and VAT work, including client-facing responsibilities.
• Open to Big 4 backgrounds (particularly if accounts-focused)Must be confident dealing directly with clients.
