What the role involves
- Repair development, with the ability to collaborate across design, stress, and manufacturing teams to ensure safe and efficient solutions.
- MRB Analysis & Disposition: Evaluate and disposition non-conforming parts, materials, and assemblies through the MRB process.
- Structural & System Analysis: Perform stress and system calculations to assess the impact of discrepancies and define corrective actions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with design, stress, and manufacturing engineers to develop effective repair solutions.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure MRB actions align with industry standards, FAA/EASA regulations, and company policies.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare and document repair justifications, rework procedures, and supporting analysis.
Skills and requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering (or equivalent discipline).
- Experience: Prior experience in MRB Engineering or a related aerospace/aviation engineering field.
- Linear Static Analysis.
- Metallic Stress & Mechanical Stress Analysis.
