MPD Operator focuses on assisting with rig-up and rig-down of mpd equipment.

What the role involves

  • Assisting with rig-up and rig-down of MPD equipment.
  • Supporting operation of MPD systems during drilling activities.
  • Monitoring pressures and fluid flow, reporting any issues promptly.
  • Assisting with installation, removal, and pressure testing of equipment.
  • Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and cleaning.
  • Complete daily reports, logs, and checklists accurately.

Skills and requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1+ year of oilfield or industrial experience preferred.
  • MPD or pressure control experience is a plus.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.

Additional role context

  • As an MPD Operator, you’ll play a key role in supporting Managed Pressure Drilling operations at the well site.
