Mechanic focuses on perform mechanical diagnostics and carry out repairs on fleet minibuses.

What the role involves

• Perform mechanical diagnostics and carry out repairs on fleet minibuses.
• Carry out preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance: oil changes, tire replacements, braking systems, lighting, windshield wipers.
• Respond to emergency mechanical breakdowns and prioritize interventions based on operational needs.
• Maintaining exterior grounds and yard areas (monitoring condition and performing basic upkeep).
• Handling hazardous materials (WHMIS) in compliance with OHS standards and applicable regulations.
• RRSP plan with employer contribution of 3%.

Skills and requirements

• Conduct building maintenance inspections and perform minor required repairs.
• DEP in automotive mechanics or heavy vehicle mechanics.
• Valid mechanical certification card.
• Valid driver’s license (Class 5) for vehicle movements.

Additional role context

• Transport vehicles to external garages for inspections, maintenance, or specialized repairs.
• Install and remove advertising visuals on vehicles.
• Contribute to general maintenance operations and fleet management.
