What the role involves

  • These positions report to the Manager of Aquatics and are responsible for maintaining a safe.
  • Ensuring the safety and well being of patrons.
  • Addressing safety issues proactively and tactfully, administering first aid and lifesaving when needed.
  • Instructing swimming lessons, preparing lesson plans and progress reports.
  • Assisting with pool maintenance and equipment checks, performing light cleaning duties.
  • Perform manual tasks requiring physical exertion including getting a 20lb brick from the bottom of the 4.5m dive tank.

Confirmed role details

  • In addition to the starting wage, applicable shift differentials apply.
  • If assigned to instruct, you will receive an additional $1.00 per hour.
  • Shift differentials are cumulative.
  • Flexible with availability and willing to accommodate for the success of both parties.
