The Librarian & Study Supervisor position centres on to provide administrative and supervisory support, including to. It would suit someone who can bring warm, steady communication with learners to the role.

Where the work sits

Supervise additional classes or individual students from years 8-12 in the library or elsewhere in the school as directed. The Librarian & Study Supervisor will be responsible for Library Supervision at breaktime and lunchtime, open access to all students.

Learning support involved

To provide administrative and supervisory support, including to. Develop the library’s print and digital collections. Classify, catalogue, order. Process new books and resources.

Education skills and requirements

• Update, as required, a list of 6th Form students attending the library in each period.
• Liaise with the appropriate administrative personnel to assist with administration duties related to Cover and Examinations Arrangements when required.
• Participate in any relevant training as required.
