What the role involves

• General labourer duties associated with road construction operations.
• Handle other small tools.
• Responsible for maintaining the quality of the mat by filling holes, raking, sweeping and get it ready for the rolling operation.
• Responsible for ensuring all the necessary tools are ready to go on the appropriate trucks for the day ahead.
• Aid the paver operator, screed operator, roller operator and foreman to enable them to focus on their jobs.
• Assisting in keeping all the equipment fueled, watered, greased, and cleaned.

Skills and requirements

• Class 5 Drivers License or equivalent preferred.
• Junior position, no experience required.
• Must be physically able to work general labour.
• Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry 50 LBS as needed.
