Lab Bench Operator focuses on performs testing as required and per product testing frequency using defined test procedures.

What the role involves

• Performs testing as required and per product testing frequency using defined test procedures.
• Enters all test data.
• Maintaining record systems to track product quality data.
• Reports any out of control and out of specification results to the shift Foreman.
• Troubleshoots equipment of testing issues.
• Preparing equipment daily.

Skills and requirements

• Knowledge of lab processes, procedures, and related systems in Lab environment.
• Sound knowledge of the Occupational health and Safety Act regulations.
• Ability to work independently and within a team is required.
• Related lab testing experience an asset.

Candidate fit

• High level of problem solving/analytical Skill.

Additional role context

• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
• Familiar with plant operations, computerized systems, processes, and procedures.
• Ability to deal with tact, diplomacy and courtesy.
