What the role involves

• Junior Commissioning Engineer focuses on saltworks is hiring a junior commissioning engineer/technologist to support the startup and delivery of advanced clean technology systems.
• Supporting factory and on-site commissioning, troubleshooting, and handovers alongside multi-disciplinary teams.
• Assisting in developing project plans, schedules, and resource coordination for factory and fieldwork.
• Supporting the refinement of commissioning procedures and best practices.
• Provide feedback to improve the design of future systems.
• Represent Saltworks at customer sites, both locally and internationally.

Skills and requirements

• A valid passport and the ability to travel internationally to customer sites without restrictions.
• An Engineering degree or diploma (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Integrated, or related).
• 1-2 years of hands-on experience in commissioning, fieldwork, or technical project support.
• Knowledge of industrial safety standards and commissioning practices.

• Technical judgement, safe working habits, careful diagnostics, and practical problem-solving.

Additional role context

• Be exposed to the full project lifecycle and collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to help bring innovative clean technology systems to life.
• This position involves approximately 50% travel to customer sites, with field rotations typically lasting 2-3 weeks.
• Some projects may require longer stays or more frequent travel over a 6- to 12-week period, depending on customer needs.
