What the role involves

• Provide didactic and clinical instruction and assessment of performance in the Dental Hygiene program.
• Through lectures, seminars, and/or labs.
• Supervise and evaluate students in clinical settings.
• Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of current dental hygiene principles, procedures and techniques and the principles of adult education.
• Maintaining course curriculum.

Skills and requirements

• Provide instructional support to Dental Assisting Program when required.
• QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE Specific Accountabilities Duties Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA) 1.
• Eligible for registration and licensure as a dental hygienist in Saskatchewan.
• Related baccalaureate degree (or be working toward completion of a related degree).
