Instructor
As a Instructor, the work centres on providing academic assistance in a variety of learning situations. It would suit someone who can bring warm, steady communication with learners to the role.
How the role is set up
We invite individuals to view the Interior Design web pages to view program and course information. BCIT Flexible Learning runs three terms in twelve week blocks: September to December, January to March, and April to June, as well as a summer term from July to August.
Where someone would start
Provide academic assistance in a variety of learning situations. Develop, modify, and continuously improve, course outlines, curricula, evaluation procedures, and instruments. Prepare and organize course materials and learning resources for course delivery.
What is expected
- Relevant diploma or degree in Interior Design or related field.
- Minimum five years of related current experience, with practical knowledge and experience in the residential (kitchen and bath) design field.
- Certified Kitchen & Bath Designer (CKBD) Certification an asset.
