Information Governance Analyst

Information Governance Analyst focuses on reporting to the cyber governance, risk, and compliance (grc) manager and will play a key role in ensuring the effective governance of icelands information assets.

What the role involves

• Reporting to the Cyber Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Manager and will play a key role in ensuring the effective governance of Icelands information assets.
• Information retention, identification, categorisation, applying appropriate security controls, and monitoring compliance with policies and standards.
• Work closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure that information is managed securely and in line with regulatory and organisational requirements.

Skills and requirements

• The primary tool for this role will be Microsoft Purview, so experience with this platform is essential.
• Strong understanding of information governance principles, including retention, classification, and security.
• Demonstrable skills in all aspects of Microsoft Purview.
• Maintain documentation and reports.
