Industrial Mechanic

Industrial Mechanic focuses on troubleshooting emergency breakdowns as necessary.

What the role involves

• Troubleshooting emergency breakdowns as necessary.
• Preventative maintenance, fixing breakdowns and/or replacing parts on many different production machines.
• Fabrication by drilling, welding, operating many power tools as required to fix machines or build new parts.
• Working with different systems including: pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated equipment.
• Reading blueprints, diagrams and schematic diagrams.
• ACCOUNTABILITY: Reports to the Plant Manager.

Skills and requirements

• 2 to 5 years experience in a similar role.
• Licensed Journeyman or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated ability to follow safe work practices and procedures.
• Able to problem solve and use critical thinking and decision making skills.
