Homeless Outreach Worker focuses on worker will be available to provide outreach services to adults that are homeless or at risk of being homeless within the penticton area, monday – friday.

What the role involves

• Worker will be available to provide outreach services to adults that are homeless or at risk of being homeless within the Penticton area, Monday – Friday.

Skills and requirements

• Minimum 2 years current experience working with multiple barrier clients.
• Previous Case Management experience an asset.
• First Aid, Therapeutic Crisis Intervention, Suicide Intervention.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, email and HIFIS.

Confirmed role details

• 1 Full-time Position (35 hours/week) in our Homeless Prevention Program.
• After 3 month probation.
• $26 – $27 per hour, depending on experience.

Additional role context

• Transportation for clients as needed to access services.
