What the role involves

• Reporting directly to the CEO, this position has been created to bring the finance function in-house from a previous group shared services environment.
• It offers a rare opportunity to play a leading role in establishing a modern, commercially focused finance function from the ground up, with a clear mandate to improve reporting, c.
• Key responsibilities will include full ownership of the monthly management accounts process, ensuring timely, accurate and insightful reporting to support strategic decision-making.
• Will lead the development of live financial reporting through Microsoft Business Central, alongside the implementation of meaningful Power BI dashboards and KPI metrics across the.
• Will take a lead in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and cashflow management, providing clear analysis and recommendations to the CEO and senior leadership team.

Skills and requirements

• We are seeking a commercially astute, hands-on and forward-thinking finance professional with experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Candidates should be able to demonstrate strong technical management accounting expertise, alongside experience of ERP systems, finance transformation, and reporting improvement.
• The ability to operate both strategically and operationally in a fast-paced SME environment will be essential.
