What the role involves
- Leading group workouts that combine treadmill, rowing, and strength floor exercises in a high-energy setting.
- Use OTconnect™ and heart rate zone data to provide a personalized experience for each member.
- Ensure proper form to promote safety and effectiveness.
- Motivate, educate, and engage members of all fitness levels throughout each session.
- Supporting studio operations by performing cleaning tasks, resetting equipment, and maintaining a safe, tidy studio environment.
- Help foster a strong studio community and positive member relationships.
Skills and requirements
- Current Personal Training, Group Fitness, or related certification (CanFitPro, ACE, NASM, ISSA, etc.).
- Post Secondary Education Diploma or equivalent in related field.
- Educational background in kinesiology, exercise science, fitness, healthcare, or wellness is a strong asset.
- Strong knowledge of human movement, fitness programming, and exercise science.
