Grill cook

This Job role is focused on preparing dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances. It would suit someone who can bring clear communication, reliability, and practical judgement to the role.

Who the work supports

Determine the size of food portions and costs. Cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.

Service work involved

Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization. Preparing dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances. Maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.

Hospitality skills and experience

• Recruits Veterans and other candidates with military experience through targeted hiring initiatives (for example: job fairs, outreach programs etc.).
• Relevant kitchen, service, hygiene, supervisory, or hospitality experience may be useful.

Job details

• Work Term: Permanent.
• 35 to 40 hours per week.
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
