Who the work supports
As a Flagger/Traffic Controller, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and flow of vehicle and pedestrian traffic at industrial worksites. Must be comfortable standing, walking and lifting traffic control equipment up to 50lbs.
How support shows up
Reporting to the on-site supervisor, you will be responsible for directing the movement of traffic, setting up and maintaining traffic control devices, and ensuring compliance with. Direct and control the flow of vehicle and pedestrian traffic at the worksite. Maintain, and adjust traffic control devices such as signs, cones, and barriers.
What needs to be in place
- Completion of Alberta flagging certification is required.
- Previous experience in traffic control or flagging operations.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, noise and potential hazards associate with an active industrial worksite.
