What the role involves

• We are located in Alliston, Ontario, a short 45 minute drive north of Toronto and 25 minutes south of Barrie, Ontario, employing 4,200 Associates.
• As a Fixed Asset Accountant, you will exercise your knowledge and your analytical skills to help HCM manage costs to achieve our targeted profitability levels.
• Be responsible for reviewing actual costs along with budgeting, and month end analysis - you’ll get to prepare reports to help management make informed decisions!
• Ultimately, your job will be an integral part of our efforts to ensure profitability and business success.
• Preparing both short-term and long-term capital investment plans, including internal.
• Guidance to engineers & cost leads for investment planning, asset capitalization & disposal.

Skills and requirements

• Relevant finance, accounts, payroll, Excel, bookkeeping, or accounting-system experience may be required.
