Financial Controller

Financial Controller focuses on reporting directly to the cfo, the controller will lead and mentor a mid-size accounting team while overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of the organization.

What the role involves

• Reporting directly to the CFO, the Controller will lead and mentor a mid-size accounting team while overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of the organization.
• Supporting business-critical projects, participating in system upgrades and implementations, and identifying opportunities to enhance workflows, reporting, and internal controls.

Skills and requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Qualified Canadian CPA designation required.
• At least 7–10+ years of industry experience, including 2+ or more years in a Controllership/managerial capacity.
• Experience in a manufacturing industry strongly preferred.
