Skills and requirements

• All required addiction medicine training will be provided by a UBC clinical instructors already working at the clinic.
• Canadian or American board certification in addiction medicine will be promoted and supported.
• After hours on call is available but not required.
• May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA), including (subject to change).

Confirmed role details

• Onsite psychiatry services create a collegial work environment.
• Full-Time or Part-Time available.

Additional role context

• Recruitment Incentive: up to a maximum of $10, (pro-rated based on FTE).
• One additional family physician needed for an addiction medicine focused practice on lovely Vancouver Island.
• Clinic is situated on the grounds of one of Canada’s premiere addiction treatment facilities.
