What the role involves

• Review tender drawings, specifications, and scopes of work for joinery packages.
• Preparing detailed cost estimates covering materials, labour, subcontractors, and installation.
• Measure quantities accurately from drawings and specifications.
• Liaise with design and production teams to confirm manufacturing methods and buildability.
• Obtain, assess, and negotiate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Preparing and submit clear, well‑structured tender returns.

Skills and requirements

• Proven experience estimating bespoke joinery, cabinetry, or interior fit‑out packages.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of joinery manufacturing processes and materials.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and estimating software.
