Electromechanical Field Service Technician

Electromechanical Field Service Technician focuses on repair and preventive maintenance.

What the role involves

• Repair and preventive maintenance.
• IPS Field Service Technicians demonstrate strong repair skills and commitment for providing an Unmatched Customer Experience.
• Effectively contribute to a strong team environment through assisting teammates in accomplishing mutual goals.
• Test various electrical and electro-mechanical equipment.
• Perform electrical tests using portable electronic equipment including but not limited to: Megger®, PdMA MCE, Multimeter, and DLRO.
• Clean electro-mechanical equipment utilizing bead blasting, ice blasting, and solvent cleaning.

Skills and requirements

• Journey person, Technologist, or Engineering certification required.
• PdMA testing experience preferred.
• Level 1 Infrared Scanning preferred.
• 4+ years of AC/DC motor and/or generator experience.
