Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, Obstetrical and Maternal Procedures

This Job role is focused on checks resultant images for technical quality and completeness, prepares technical worksheet, and discusses images with the Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist to ensure examination. It would suit someone who can bring the Diagnostic Medical Sonographer performs obstetrical, and pelvic ultrasound examinations, observing patient safety practices to the role.

Role overview

Participates on committees/teams and approved research projects as assigned. Monitors equipment performance and performs quality control duties in accordance with recommended manufacturers' guidelines, including recording results as well as identifying malf.

Main responsibilities

Checks resultant images for technical quality and completeness, prepares technical worksheet, and discusses images with the Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist to ensure examination. Participates in orientation of new employees by monitoring progress, ensuring policies and procedures are respected. We strive to maintain an environment of respect, caring and trust.

Requirements

• & Abilities Demonstrated knowledge of theory and practice for Sonography procedures including obstetrical and pelvic.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the aseptic techniques.
