Our client is a well-established and growing engineering manufacturer specialising in heavy-duty industrial equipment. Due to continued investment and expansion, they are now seeking to appoint an experienced Design Engineer to join their established engineering team.

Engineering work involved

Develop mechanical systems and components for industrial shredding equipment. Produce detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings using CAD software. Work closely with production, procurement and project teams to deliver efficient, cost-effective design solutions.

Technical skills and requirements

• Ensure designs comply with relevant standards, specifications, and safety requirements.
• Background in recycling, waste processing, or materials handling sectors.
• Knowledge of stress analysis (FEA) and mechanical calculations.
