Deputy General Manager focuses on overseeing daily hotel operations across front of house, accommodation, kitchen, food & beverage, events & banqueting, administration, maintenance and health club.
What the role involves
- Overseeing daily hotel operations across Front of House, Accommodation, Kitchen, Food & Beverage, Events & Banqueting, Administration, Maintenance and Health Club.
- Ensure consistently high standards of service, staff presentation, hygiene, cleanliness and operational efficiency.
- Supporting KPI delivery, budgeting, forecasting, cost control and rota management.
- Implement operational strategies to maximise profitability, sales and guest experience.
- Manage property operations with professionalism and confidence.
- Leading, motivate and mentor department heads and wider teams.
Skills and requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Deputy General Manager in a similar hotel environment.
- Strong background in hotel or hospitality management at a senior operational level.
- Comprehensive operational knowledge across F&B, front office, kitchen, accommodation and hotel compliance.
- Good standard of education with a hospitality management qualification and relevant experience.
