What the role involves
- Resolving client queries and requests through various electronic and telecommunications channels, including email, internet banking systems, facsimile, and telephone.
- Identifying customers' needs, clarifying information, researching issues, and providing solutions and alternatives.
- Escalating issues to the appropriate specialist or department as necessary.
- Following communication scripts for handling different topics.
- Reviewing daily system-generated reports and proactively contacting clients to resolve a range of issues.
- Approving or declining cheques or debits to overdrawn accounts per the client's policies and procedures.
Skills and requirements
- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
- Previous experience in a customer support role.
- A customer-focused mindset and adaptability to various personality types.
- Manage time effectively.
Confirmed role details
- This is a temporary role with a competitive salary of $17 per hour.
- Monday-Friday 10:00am-7:00pm.
- Job type: Temporary.
- 4% vacation pay paid out on each weekly pay cheque.
