Course Ambassador / Marshall focuses on ensuring that all guests are playing to the appropriate pace of play.

What the role involves

  • Ensuring that all guests are playing to the appropriate pace of play.
  • GPS on-cart system knowledge.
  • Knowledge of course rules and etiquette as well as environmentally sensitive areas.
  • Radio communication skills.
  • Resolving any guest problems that occur on the golf course.
  • Offering assistance, and advice if requested, on distances and club selection.

Skills and requirements

  • This is a volunteer position that monitors guest experience and pace of play on course.
  • Must have valid drivers license.
  • Must play golf and be genuinely interested in the game.

Confirmed role details

  • Ambassador’s receive a round of golf for each shift worked and must be able to work 4 shifts per month.
